2. design your own compare and contrast matrix

Answer:

Compare/Contrast Matrix Graphic Organizers allow students to do just that, compare and contrast multiple objects, characters, or concepts from a given text. They are able to see multiple differences and similarities by creating several different subtopics they want to investigate further. This is a great strategy first to get students to comprehend what they are reading, but then also a great source for later when students are writing an essay (Beare, n.d.). This strategy is used best for text that has many details and many facts about people, places, or events (Miller & Veatch, 2011, p. 70).

Our agency governance scorecard shows how these strategic objectives will be attained. Under each perspective, objectives and targets were identified, with corresponding measures and strategic initiatives.

The first perspective is 'Resource Management' that will serve as the solid foundation for the succeeding perspectives. Next are the two (2) objectives under the Learning and Growth perspective which has the most number of measures. This is followed bythe Process Excellence perspective, that focuses on our core functions, which is our value proposition to the people we serve, in terms of improving crime prevention and control through better crime solution efficiency, crime clearance efficiency and national crime index.

The most important among the four (4) perspectives is the Community, that is the beneficiary of our improved police service. The objective of attaining a safer place to live, work and do business under this perspective will be measured utilizing the Global Peace Index (GPI).

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PERSPECTIVE

The first perspective is "resource management." For the PNP to eventually realize its vision, the resources provided in pursuit of its mission should be "adequate".Moreover, those resources provided should be used "optimally." To help achieve maximum utilization of resources, thePNP must observe high standards of "transparency and accountability" in all its "financial and logistical transactions.

12. Compare the structures of a plant cell wall and the extracellular matrix of an animal cell.

Animal and plant anatomy is made up of various parts, including cells. The definition of a cell is the smallest part or form of an organism, consisting of one or more nuclei, protoplasm, and inanimate matter surrounded by a cell membrane, according to the Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI). The main difference between animal cells and plant cells lies in the presence of a cell wall. Animal cells do not have a cell wall. While plant cells have cell walls that contain cellulose. Stiff plant cell walls are absent in animal cells because plants are not actively moving. While animals move from one place to another. Therefore, animals need cells that are more flexible than plants.

The following is an explanation of the differences between animal cells and plant cells according to their parts:

1. Cell Wall

Based on the book Anatomy of Plants, the cell wall is a characteristic feature of plant cells that distinguishes them from animal cells. The cell wall acts as a mechanical support for plant organs, especially in thick walls. The cell wall influences the important activities of plant tissues, such as absorption, transpiration, translocation and secretion. The plant cell wall consists of three layers, namely the middle lamella (intercellular), the primary wall, and the secondary wall. The presence of this cell wall is the main difference between animal cells and plant cells.

Although animal cells do not have a cell wall, there is an extracellular matrix (ECM) in animal cells. The building blocks of the ECM are glycoproteins secreted by these cells. The most abundant glycoprotein in the ECM is collagen. Its function is to form strong fibers on the outside of the cell. Collagen accounts for about half of the total protein in the human and animal bodies.

2. Centrioles

Centrioles are two organelles that play a role in cell division. Centrioles are present in animal and fungal cells, while plants do not have centrioles. Each centriole consists of nine microtubule triplets arranged in a ring. Microtubules are cylindrical fibers that play a role in cell division, chromosome movement, and organelle movement.

3. Plastids

The difference between animal cells and plant cells lies in the presence of plastids. Plastids are organelles that are unique to plant cells and are not present in animal cells. Plastids are sac-like organelles bounded by two layers of membrane. There are several types of plastids, namely chloroplasts, chromoplasts, and leucoplasts. The three are distinguished by the pigment they contain. Chloroplasts are green colored plastids because the dominant pigment is chlorophyll.

Plants that grow in dark places are pale in color because they contain few chloroplasts. Chromoplasts are usually feline, orange or red in color due to the presence of carotenoid pigments. Chromoplasts are found in flower crowns, ripening, and some roots such as carrots. Leucoplasts are plastids that do not contain pigment. Usually, these plastids are found in tissues that are not exposed to light. Leucoplasts are used to store metabolic products.

4. Vacuole

Vacuoles only exist in plant cells, animal cells generally do not have vacuoles. However, protozoa can form food vacuoles that serve as a place where food is obtained and digested. In plant cells, the vacuole contains water dissolved in it various minerals, sugars, organic acids and other materials. Young cells have several small vacuoles. While adult plant cells have one large vacuole that sometimes dominates the cell.

5. Lysosomes

The difference between animal cells and plant cells can be seen from the presence of lysosomes. Animal cells have lysosomes, while plant cells do not. Lysosomes are sacs bounded by a membrane. In lysosomes, there are enzymes that play a role in the process of decomposition or decomposition of most cells. Lysosomes are used by cells to digest large molecules.

6. Nucleus Location

The nucleus is the nucleus of a cell that is spherical or elliptical in shape and is protected by a nuclear membrane (nuclear membrane). Animal and plant cells have a nucleus. The difference is in the location of the nucleus. The location of the nucleus of animal cells is in the middle, while in plant cells, the location of the nucleus is at the edge of the cell. In the nucleus, there are hereditary substances (genes). When the cell will divide, the hereditary substances will be duplicated and packaged in the form of a chromosomal spindle. The nucleus also acts as a control center for cell activities and consists of the nuclear fluid (nucleoplasm), the nucleus (nucleolus), and the nuclear membrane.

7. Centrosome

The centrosome is a small round shape located at one pole of the nucleus and is only found in animal cells. Centrosome during cell reproduction will divide into centrioles.

15. Give the difference between Profile Matrix and Proximity Matrix.

Answer:

Profile matrices contain measurements of variables for a set of items. Proximity matrices contain measurements of relations, or proximities, between items. If the measurements in a proximity matrix tell how close things are to each other then you have a similarity matrix. If the measurements in a proximity matrix tell how far apart things are from each other, then you have a dissimilarity matrix

For this reason, accountants essentially serve as data interpreters. Prather says strong communication skills can strengthen these interactions. "One of the most important skills the best accountants possess is the ability to transform numbers, charts, and tables into a story the average person can understand," he says. "Top accountants use their communication skills to simplify the vast amount of data at their disposal. This helps weed out the unnecessary details that make a presentation less accessible."
